The International Chamber Orchestra of Washington (ICW),  a non-profit foundation formed in 2013, brings audiences popular favorites and new compositions, played by exceptional musicians, and featuring world-class soloists. 

SUCCESSFUL 2016 ICw Fundraiser

We enjoyed an evening of exceptional classical music and a delicious dinner buffet at the intimate, artistic, private residence in Bethesda - The Milo - on June 26, 2016.

Spring Concert - March 2015
Our successful concert at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, VA, featured the Polish Percussionist, Marianna Bednarska, on the marimba and xylophone. The concert included music by Mozart, Sejourne, Green, Lutoslawski, Grieg, and Rautavaara.


June 2016 - Fundraiser

This successful event featured the ICW Concertmaster, Sally MacLain, and an up and coming pianist Nicky Purser in a selection of solo violin and piano pieces.
As usual, there was a delicious dinner buffet at the intimate, artistic private residence in Bethesda where this event was held.
September 2014 - Fundraiser
This sold out event was an evening of lovely classical and jazz music, that included a delicious dinner buffet at an intimate, artistic, private residence in Bethesda.
Chamber Concert - March 2014
Our intimate chamber music concert at the First Baptist Church in Rockville, featured music composed for wind instruments, namely flute, bassoon, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone, by composers such as Stravinsky, Plog, and Arnaud, among others.

Inaugural Concert - September 2013
Our successful inaugural concert at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, VA, featured the exciting Japanese Cellist, Dai Miyata. He won the  the 9th Rostropovich Cello Competition's Grand Prix in 2009; the first Japanese competitor to win.  The concert included music by Mozart, Mitsumoto, Popper, and Tchaikovsky.




The International Chamber Orchestra of Washington (ICW) is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit foundation. Contributions are deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
